Morning Walk

the sky is barely bright
a different blue than sunset
cerlean
instead of royal
lights from the bay
seen from the top of the hill
fade as morning breaks
left turn onto third
surprise!
the cherry blossoms are in bloom
the sun and the moon hang juxtaposed in the sky
and crisp cool air floats along
awakening the world
to morning
and to spring
